Loud AC

Was reading about and watching some YouTube videos on the Wacko rv ac vent to make the ac quieter. Decided to try something for myself. Studying how the air is drawn up one side and forced down the other half of the 14x14 opening I decided to tape off completely the supply side which blows across the diverter. Looked like the air blowing down on the diverter and forcing the air into the ductwork was making a lot of noise. Made some difference. Can’t use the diverter but we didn’t use it anyway. Took the opportunity to make sure the divider was totally sealed off. Next I’m going to try to find a different filter material that is more rigid as I think this will keep some of the fan noise will not come back through the intake.
