Micro Air Easy Start Mod

I just installed the Micro Air Easy Start 364 to our Coleman Mach 15k air conditioner. I am not electrically inclined and this was a very easy install. The whole thing from start to finish was about an hour. After training the system the required 5 times with 5 mins between cycles I got our Ryobi 2200 Inverter/Generator and the A/C started and ran on the generator!! .

I have to admit I had my doubts but the online instructions were very clear

Simply Amazing.

Thanks for the info. I've been considering a new lightweight inverter style generator but right now it would be a 3500 watt unit at 100# or so for my TT. An East Start and a 55-60# generator appears to be the solution to my aging aching back And at a similar cost.

That thinking was a huge factor for me. We were at a campground last fall and the power went out for several hours. I have dual batteries so the essentials were operational but it really got me thinking about what I would do if it was the heat of the summer or a longer outage. I do occasionally camp at a National Park (Assateague) where there are no hookups so I use that small generator to recharge batteries and to run other things during the day but that camping is usually in the winter. Camping in the summer at that park would be a different issue. My options for running the A/C were either buy a second small Ryobi or just get a larger (heavier) genset. I opted for the Easy Start. I am curious to see how it will run for a longer period but so far it looks promising.

With the Micro-Air our Honda EU2200i will run the AC and all of the lights in eco mode, I imagine the TV and refrigerator would be no issue to run as well.
