Micro Lite 25DS exterior TV mount

We would like to buy a second TV and use it on the exterior tv mount when using the interior TV at the same time. Does anyone know what the brand and model of that mount is so we can buy a second mount for the extra TV? Here's a picture of the wall side of the mount on the TT (sideways, silly iPad!).

Did you ever hear back from the maker of the factory TV mounts? I want to do the same thing and use a second TV outside on the factory bracket.

Outside TV Mount - Is it Worth it?

Cruised some RV parts sites. Bracket similiar to mine was $120.

Seems kinda high.

If I buy a cheap DTV for $150 I'll have almost $300 tied up in setup!

Is it worth it?

keyhole TV mount

Did anyone find this mount. I would like to use the mount on the outside but our RV was broken into on the dealers lot and the TV was stolen with the TV side part of the mount. Dealer installed a new mount inside but now I have no way of using the TV outside.

Help please!

I had my daughter (a welder) take two bolts and weld them to a piece of stainless steel (thin stuff, 3 mil.) flat stock at the spacing of the exterior bracket. The flat stock metal can be attached to any set by drilling holes where ever needed. The bolt heads slide into the slots of the external bracket. Costs about $30.00 to make if you buy the materials. Daughter had the metal, I had the bolts. Cost a me a hug.

I use it every weekend. I just bought a cheep set at Wal-mart for the external TV. Works good when the game is on and the wife wants to watch the food network.

OK everyone, I have found part numbers and ordered them and here they are.
TV mounting bracket - scissor 10-16349A
TV mount (exterior) 10-16285A
I went through my local RV dealer to order the parts. I was in luck when I talked to them. The parts manager had just got done doing a month research on getting them parts for another customer. These are the Forest River part numbers.

Nice work! Those are the pieces in our unit, we have two sets plus the plate in the first pic on the outside. They work well and the travel lock is tight.

I had gone to my dealer mid-summer to get these. The interesting part is I wanted to just get an extra wall mounting bracket, but a plastic bushing on my scissor bracket broke after inspection. The dealer covered the scissor bracket under warranty so when they ordered the new scissor bracket I asked them to order me an extra wall mount. When the parts arrived the scissor bracket came with another wall mount bracket plus the extra one I ordered. So I'm guessing there is a P/N for the assembly as well. Unfortunately, I threw the paperwork away so not sure what the P/N's are. I never actually gave the dealer any P/N's, they looked into it and did there own homework and called me back the next day.

Slightly off topic as these are different than what's already mounted on your rig. I'm adding a bedroom TV and plan on using it outside as well. Found these plastic ones on eBay, in black and white. I do like yours better, but I don't need the articulated piece.

Those are pretty decent too. I have to say that the combination of the scissor bracket and the wall mount is nice though. Your brackets seem as though they may not be as secure in holding the TV in place while underway, but you could always just take the TV off the wall just to be safe. The wall mount bracket locks in pretty securely, then the scissor locks in close to the wall pretty tight.

Tv bracket

The scissor bracket and wall plate are supplied to Forest River by RAMCO Engineering in Elkhart, IN.

When ordering the scissor mount, the wall bracket and VESA plate are included. The price without shipping was around $100.00.
