Microwave replacement

We have a 2104 FR Salem Cruise-Lite 241QBXL that has a really crappy built in microwave oven. I would like to replace it with a residential built in microwave. The one in the RV has a regular dedicated outlet that it plugs into. Has anyone replaced their RV microwave with a residential unit? If so any issues to consider?

The only thing special about RV microwaves is that they're cheap and usually very small.

Put in whatever you like and can fit.

Took me a couple of hours while we were camp hosting. So I did it with tools at hand on a day off. Not hard. Take measurements of your existing one and go shopping. Best buy, lowes, home depot or walmart will have lots of different brands to choose from.

OK I’m confused! This thread is “appliances and electronics”. I thought microwaves would be included in a thread like this. Obviously I don’t know all the “ins and outs” of how this forum works and I’m not sure where to start a separate thread that would show up in “a & e”. Can you help me?
