Does your stereo have buttons labled A,B & C? A is usually living room. B is bed room and C is outside. Not sure how yours is set up. Turn off and on by pressing each button.

I think that you will only get "surround sound" when playing a DVD. Otherwise you will get stereo sound through what ever speakers you have selected to be on, including all of them at the same time.

A: is two door speakers and two ceilings speakers.
B: turns off the door speakers and turns on all ceiling speakers.
Both: is all speakers (our speaker selector is a knob, not buttons)

If the rear speakers are not working then you need to look at the fade and balance on the head unit under the equalizer. If the fade & balance are set to the middle and on B or Both, then the connections could be bad???

You can play surround not only with a DVD but also with over the air and satellite. The TV has an audio out that goes back to the head unit.

Just search "playing surround sound" and you should be alb to find it.

Your probably figured it out by now....but the unit in our Flagstaff V-Lite, requires that you set the "mode" to AV2 and then press the A, B, C buttons to turn them on or off. Had to have the Forest River factory rep explain this....this works for watching television shows and DVD's. Helps a lot when sound tracks on movies are too low or their is noise in TT from furnace and air conditioner.

While im sure the OP appreciates all the tips, just a reminder that this is a Motorhome sub thread.

We do not use the same in-wall stereo that trailers do. We use a dash radio/DVD player.

No. Actually I'm off. I saw the OP said Sunseeker, but it looks like we're a general appliance/electronics forum not a Sunseeker sub-form. that explains a lot.

Sunseekingfl,
Have you figured this out? I had the same question with my RV speakers.
