Need new dvd/stereo

I have a 2008 Rockwood 8244s and need a new stereo in it. I have the Concertone zx500 in it but it doesnt work only a few buttons work (piece of junk). I dont really want to buy another concertone all i have read was they are cheap and break all the time not worth the money. What else is out there that will fit in the same frame or if there isnt anything that will fit in the same frame what options are there to get one and fill in the frame?

The Concertone didn't work in the trailer we purchased, and after much research I decided that it would simply be foolish to spend money to replace it with another equally unreliable, under performing Rv specific dvd/stereo.

I purchased a Pioneer double-DIN media ready car stereo and installed. I had to fabricate a new frame, and work some magic re-wiring it into the trailer. Now that it's complete (I also replaced the garbage interior speakers)I am very happy. It plays cd's, DVD's, has tuner, has Bluetooth, has a USB input (will play both music and movies from my IPhone or USB thumb drive), is satellite radio ready, and Pandora internet radio ready. It has a video output so i could connect it to the tv in the trailer, and has audio inputs, so if I hook up cable to the tv I can get the sound through the stereo. Car stereo's do not have A/B speakers selectors, so I simply use the fader to switch from inside and outside speakers.
the sound is simply fantastic, and the Pioneer quality is 100000% times better than any Concertone product made.

It took a little time and some patience to get it all sorted out and installed correctly, but it was well worth it. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't think twice.

We had the ZX600 in our trailer. Worked great until last Sept. One of the front speakers starting systematically dropping the signal. Very annoying. Since the ZX600 isn't available anymore, I had to upgrade to the Genesis GT-3.0 and use the available wiring harness adapter. I emailed the Concertone people and told them that even though my warranty was out, since my trailer wasn't that old and considering all the problems other people had been having with the ZX600, would they give me a discount on a Genesis GT-3.0 unit. They emailed me back that they would knock $150 off the GT-3.0 unit. They had a refurbished GT-3.0 available so I applied my $150 credit on that unit. I installed it about 2 weeks ago with the available wiring harness adapter ($29.95) and everything works great. Used it for a four day camping trip with no problems. Keeping my fingers crossed though.
