new microwave no start

Magicshef, recognizes the button when you click stop off but the start button doesn't turn the microwave on.

I have a second outside, works fine.

New 2014 Flagstaff 831bhds

Any ideas?

So you have power but it does not start? Try to wiggle door closed when hitting start, could be the door interlock.

Oh when I read this I was so happy to try that, didn't work though. Good idea however.

Some require all setup data (time date etc.) be accepted before cooking commands, sorta like a VCR of the last century.

Added time no problem. Still doesn't allow start microwaving.

My new one only lasted 4 or 5 times before it quit. Turns out a wire was not plugged in all the way on the controller.

Replacement microwave installed and all is well!
