New Sanibel ac not coolant well

Just got our new Sanibel, 90 degrees this week, front living area ac not cool as expected? Dealer says it’s ok ? I asked what temperature should be coming directly from the vent, no answer only to say the unit can only drop temp 15 degrees from ambient.? Surely there is an expected temp directly from the duct in the ceiling. Very disappointed to spend this much money and not be comfortable. Any suggestions?

I believe the air measured at the outlet should be 15-20 degrees lower than the inlet air. One A/C in most RV’s is not sufficient to lower the temp very fast especially a 13K standard BTU unit. I suggest you cover your sunny side windows with Mylar, a reflective bubble type insulation available at HD or Lowes. FYI, in Florida, we have 3 units on our Cardinal and it just does keep up.
