Norcold DC10 12v - E3 code/ wrong wire gauge

Hi,
2021 Leprechaun 260DS. We bought it used in May about a year after original sale date.
Throwing an E3 low voltage error code (w/ the incessant beeping) when on house battery power. Freezer cools well, but fridge does not under this situation.

Was told by Norcold AND someone at Coachmen that it is very likely the wrong gauge wiring used originally when built at the factory. Has 14 gauge, should have 10 or lower. Also seen same issue posted by others online.

Just had it diagnosed and confirmed by an authorized service center, but it is not going to be covered by Norcold or our extended service plan because it is a manufacturer problem, not a "breakdown," or broken appliance. Still have an appointment to have the wiring changed out regardless because we need this done.

Do you think I have any recourse getting goodwill help from Coachmen to cover costs or anything? Kind of ridiculous that they installed less than adequate wiring and this is somewhat of a common problem.

I know we are 2nd owners and over a year since original purchase, so....
Trying to get a hold of the rep I've talked to before at Coachmen, but they have always been hit or miss on answering calls or emails. Still worth a try?
Anyone else come across this wiring gauge issue?
Thanks!

Always worth a try.
Have your service center take pictures before the wire replacement to document the wiring that was in there and after the replacement. Also document what Norcold told you about minimum wiring requirement. (It should be in an installation manual.) Then contact Coachmen by phone or email and include the pictures. They probably won't cover it, but you never know.

All good ideas. Thanks. I didn't think to check the installation manual. Just found it and it looks like they recommend 10, 8 or 6. See attached screenshot.
It was installed with 14. So that makes a decent argument.
