OS/TV vs Cable Hookup ?
Samsung 65", no signal. Does anyone use OS/TV or Cable outside connection (Riverstone) for Samsung only? I have no signal regardless

Welcome to the forum!
I'm uncertain as to what you are asking. What happens when you hook up cable to the outside cable connection? Have you turned off the signal booster and scanned for channels on your tv?

I'm confused too. What's OS/TV and what does Samsung only have to do with it?

OS/TV
Outside hook-up connections, OPS/TV, Cable, etc.
OS is used by Samsung, Campers World techs are saying connect to cable. I have no signal either way. Campers World has no clue of the connections.

So you're saying that when you hook up the campground cable and disconnect the signal booster and try to scan for digital signals on your tv, you have no signal?
To get a tv signal, you've got to have your signal booster on and scan for tv channels each time you change location.
Have you checked to see that the input wires are connected on the back of the tv?

Signal boosters in most newer coaches are auto, with no switches. No access. The cabling on all three TVs is correct and secured. I've been using my pairing our laptop to watch Netflix, Fox news, etc. It's been so hot, I can't stay outside nor sightseeing. I guess I'll have to measure the ohm reading though if there is a booster I should still get a reading?

We were at a campground last year and their cable tv would not work on our tv and had to borrow one from them .

Your posts are very confusing. Are you trying to watch a park cable input or rooftop over the air antenna input? If park cable input booster should be OFF. If rooftop antenna input booster should be ON. For whatever input it is the TV needs to be selected for that input and a channel scan needs to be run. Never heard of auto booster for rooftop antenna.

To me OS stands for "operating system". Smart TVs have them. No idea what that has to do with the cable hookups though...

Booster ON is only true if using the rooftop over the air antenna. The OP is confused enough without statement clarification.

I was trying to give a little guidance with 'statement clarification'. I was trying to figure out if it's just the cable connection or both the tv and cable connection... similar to what you asked.
Heck. We don't even know the make, model or year of his rig. If it's new, he probably should call his dealer and get help.

Usually the tv menu will also have a cable or air/antenna setting. Antenna booster off while using cable. Scan channels needs to know where the signal is coming from. I've also seen factory mislabeled cable- satellite ports, reversed at the bedroom connections. Because there may be a cable connection at the post, don't assume it's live. Grounds manager should be able to answer that. Extra fee ? Descrambler box rental ?

I have never heard of a Samsung only connection. That's a total new one to me. I'm wondering if this Samsung TV even has a tuner in it, or is it only internet connected with no turner.

"Antenna booster off while using cable. " That statement resolved a question I was having. 2022 Stoneriver Reserve is the rig. I Called CampersWorld about the O/S -TV connection and was told to use the cable connector. When I asked what is the O/S connection port... the reply was "I don't know", then why did you suggest Cable ? "because it's where the cable gets connected". I'll find a young kid in the neighborhood. Samsung developed O/S and uses it with smart TVs, though uncertain of the connector above the outside connections.

Normally there are three types of connections outside the RV and you may have one, two, or all three types.
1. Cable - this goes to an input on the back of the wall plate with the power button. When the antenna amplifier switch is off, the cable input is fed directly to all TV's.
2. Outside TV - this is typically connected to an output on the back of the wall plate with the switch. This sends whatever antenna or cable signals the inside TVs are getting to the outside jack to connect a TV there.
3. Satellite- this will be a straight run of cable going to a single matching connector inside and is used to connect a satellite dish to a satellite receiver.
There is no such thing as a Samsung connection.

You keep using "O/S". What does that stand for?

I think the OP is referencing Samsung's Tizen OS (operating system) for their smart TV's. I find this OP's postings very confusing.

My guess is it is a label on an F type coax connector on the outside of the RV which stands for Outside tv/ Sattelite. It's probably connected to an empty F type coax connector on the inside. It's got nothing to do with Samsung OS.
Also, typically, a "No Signal" message on the TV indicates that it is selected to an HDMI port with nothing connected to it, or whatever is connected to it is turned off.
