Are you using large pots that overhang the sides or anything?

We have been using regular 10-12" pots and pans and a camp stove griddle that fits perfectly between the wind shields. It has been getting worse with each use. I'm not sure why this side would be melting and not the other side especially with the griddle use.
Looks like they may have used the wrong material. Obviously is needs to be a high temp or V0 rated. Sometimes this happens when they change suppliers. Call the manufacturer and see if they will replace. Luckily it didn't ignite.
