Oven pilot light

I lit the oven pilot light recently on our new TT. It seemed to not want to stay lit, & was making a popping sound when it did light. It went out a few times. I'm wondering if it's just air in the line. The oven burner lights & burns strong. So do the stove burners.

To light ours we need to push the oven knob in while I lite the pilot. I hold the knob in and when it lights I hold it for about 15 seconds and it stays lit with no problem.
