Oven won't stay lit?

A simple little trick for an oven pilot light that keeps blowing out. Find an empty 30 cal.shell case. Cut it as in picture, slide over thermocouple to shield pilot light when oven cycles on and off to maintain temperature. I did this two years ago in our new 2018 trailer that the oven wouldn't stay lit. It fits snugly and I haven't had a problem since. Click image for larger version

This one is a "used"30-30 shell, but I think any 30 caliber rifle shell should work.Click image for larger version

My mistake. Shell shield slides over pilot light, not thermocouple.

My pilot will stay lit until I turn up the temperature. Once the desired temp is satisfied or if I turn it off the oven the pilot light goes off I also think I could have thermocouple problem on entire oven control could be faulty.

Could be bad thermo? The shield is for a pilot that gets blown out when cycling as mine was doing.

Thanks. I opened the door and it appears to just slowly go out as the thermostat gets satisfied.
