Plethora of Issues

Hi! So as we were packing our 2011 Shasta Revere Travel Trailer for a trip, we noticed it had a faint high pitch squealing sound coming from the fuse panel, which has since gone away. We noticed the house lights flickering and the breaker panel fan cycling on and off for just a few seconds at a time, struggling to continue running. Now we found the hot water heater will ignite right away when turned on, stay lit for 5 seconds or so, then shut itself off and ignite again, similar to the timing of the breaker fan timing. Could these all have a common problem or do we have a perfect storm of issues?

Have you checked your battery? These all sound like electrical issues and that's where I'd start. It's possible that your converter is going bad, but start with the battery.

Battery is new and still good. Tested at the breaker panel, 120 all good, but the 12v fuses were reading in the 2-5 range, so guessing we're getting a whole new convertor.

My guess on a 2011 unit is poor connections from battery back. Start there and renew connections to frame and terminal blocks. Use voltmeter and work your way forward

If it's the gas that is igniting, then stopping, check the burner and/or gas lines. You may have some critters (spiders, dirt daubers, etc.) that may have nested on your burner. The symptoms you describe is exactly what mine did on my old TT. The tech cleaned up the burner (dirt dauber nest), and all was well.
