Plugin Question

We bought a 2018 cruise-lite in late summer, putting about 300 miles before we parked it and noticed the plugin on the trailer side that corresponds to the connection for power on the pickup was corroded, wasn't like that when we bought it and the pickup side looks good. Not a big deal to change out but want to make sure it doesn't happen with new one. Any ideas what might be the cause.

Hi,
You can protect the terminals using Dielectric grease.

and make sure the plug is facing down so rain cannot enter it when the trailer is parked.

Sounds like the grease would be a good idea for prevention and it's been awhile but sure could have been damp in the plugin the last time we took it out we had some rain about then

I would use a dielectric grease on both sides, I treated mine several times a year, it does not take much, it will also make it easier to plug and unplug.
