By the way, can you give us a photo or brand name on your antenna!

This is the King/Jack batwing replacement head I bought...

Best RV antenna on the market ($50)!
Miss my Bat Wing.

Not me...

The King/Jack almost doubled the number of TV channels I received in my yard.

Never know there were close to 100 TV channels broadcasting OTA in Denver until I installed the King/Jack.

And pulling in stations up in the mountains I never knew existed before I bought the King/Jack.

Way better antenna.

I'm guessing that anyone who doesn't have a similar experience has an issue in the wiring somewhere.

Or just didn't aim it right...

One thing...

I didn't use the signal amplifier that came with the King/Jack, but just used the one that was already in each camper that I've had this on.

FYI - The signal amplifier is in the antenna head of all RV powered antennas (Jack or Winegard). The wall plate is just the power source and coax switch.

Thanks Herk
There are directional elements inside some units (like the Jack).

The completely round units do not have the director elements and are therefore "omnidirectional". They also have much less range than the units with the directors installed; that's what makes them directional.

If there is "Omni" or Omnidirectional" in the model name or description, you will not get the same reception as one that you aim.

This is the one I have.

Winegard has a very useful app for free
Works well from right inside the camper.
Just stand under your antenna pointer and point your arrow at your favorite signal shown on your tower locator in the app.

Mine came with a separate amplifier in a box.

Still have it in the box.
