pulsing buzzing noise in fridge

We have a dometic DM2652LBFX that has a pulsing buzzing noise.. off and on every 5-10 secs. When you open the fridge it sounds like it is coming from the backside center. Everyone has said it is the fan but we have removed the fan and tested off the refrigerator. It is whisper quiet and runs without issue. It does not pulse or make any type of noise. Plug it back into the refrigerator and once it is plugged in and I guess warms up it starts again... What can be causing this?

I'm gong to assume you are talking about the fan that supplies cooling air up thru the coils on the back of the fridge. That fan is controlled by a snap disc you might check the opening and closing of the snap disc for proper operation.

I'm not sure of the location and have not looked at your actual frig model. My answer should have stated may be controlled by a snap disc. In any case you can confirm by tracing the wires controlling the fan if we are talking about the fan outside in the chimney area of the frig for a snap disc.

The thermo disk is mounted backside upper right hand side on the fins.
