Radio and Camera issues

Purchased a 2016 FR3 and we headed out for the first time this weekend. This is our first motor home and our first time driving more that just around our area. We freaked out when the camera stopped working. It would flicker on and off (rear camera) and would go out at the worst times! The turn signal killed it every time of course we thought that it should switch to the side view for changing lanes. It did for a second, the the screen goes black with the warning about appearance of objects and locks up for 5-10 mins. It then pops back in to the rear view camera??

By the time we made it to the campsite, we could not use the cd or dvd player feature. We still have a cd stuck in there. We "un-paired" our phones and that did not help. If was acting as if it would lock-up while trying to update or something. The dealership said that they could not help us over the phone. We had to return to the dealership for a diagnostic check to determine is the pioneer unit was bad, if it was under warranty, so forth... We were told that it would take at least two weeks to receive a replacement from FR if the unit was bad. We are sad. Have reservations and plans for the next few weekends. Suggestions??? Thank you!
