Radio antenna

Has anyone removed their am/fm antenna on the roof of their TT? I really don't use the radio much and that antenna bugs me because it cannot swing to a down and horizontal position. I'd like to make a roof cover for storage but that silly antenna setup is in the way. Thanks for any suggestions.

You should be able to fold the antenna. There is a screw in the side of the base, loosen the screw and it should will fold over.

x2!
without knowing what RV you have, all the radio antennas i've seen on FR products, are this type that can fold down or a newer flat-type of antenna.

I got a hidden antenna on eBay for $5. Took the other off and eternabonded the roof. Problem fixed.

Sorry, no pictures but mine is just a vertical antenna with a spring base. I'll look into other antennas or maybe just remove the radio completely as we never listen to it anyway. Thanks for the suggestions.
