Range Hood Fuse

We are camping in our new Windjammer and last night the fan and light in the range hood quit working.

I checked all the power center fuses and they are okay. I see mention of a fuse rating on a sticker on the range hood but can't see anything obvious where it may be located.

There wasn't a manual in our trailer packet either.

Anybody dealt with that in theirs?

Any panels to remove inside the hood?

There was a panel between the fan housing and switches that was easily removed but no fuses. The fan housing looks like a much more complicated disassembly.

The motor prob has a built in fusable link. Fix is to replace the motor. When doing so, improve the cooling by making sure the mounting bracket is not blocking air flow. I drilled holes in my particular bracket since the bracket blocked all air flow from front of motor.

Motor was <10 on amazon...

If the motor was overheating, tje extra draw or the power at link blow could have burnt the bulb. At least in my unit, the bulb is a small automotive bulb. My bulb went out first.

I believe (can't prove) that the wiring probably goes up into the small space between the bottom of the cabinet above the range hood and "floor" inside the cabinet. I know some folks have pried up the inside "floor" of these cabinets and accessed wires in there. I know my control panel wiring is between the cabinet bottom and the cabinet floor of the cabinets over my dinette. So your fuse MAY be in there.
