Range Hood Replacement Bulb
I have a Heng's range hood, model RO624500C in my 2016 Wildwood 27RLSS. The bulb in the light burned out after a couple of uses. We pulled the bulb, but I am having trouble identifying the correct replacement bulb for it. All the info I have says 12v 10w, but not the bulb size (G4, G8,etc). Nothing in the stores is an exact match. Does anyone know how I can find the correct bulb?

Sorry, I can't tell you the bulb number, but if it is like ours it is so dim you can't tell it is turned on!

OE bulb is most likely a 921 which you can find at an auto parts store or WW. If you want to replace it with an LED bulb you can get them thru Amazon or M4LED.COM.

Pitiful light
Here's a picture of my 2016 Wildwood range hood lamp, a Heng's brand. I'd like to find an LED replacement bulb or if necessary the entire fixture. Any solutions?
Thank you!

Bulb over stove
A 921 was too fat for my TT. Went to a local hardware and they were able to match it up. I would tell you the size, but my TT is stored at my campground.

I called Heng's customer service when mine went out. The bulb is a JRP1006B. It's not an LED, just a regular 12V bulb, and it's only slightly more bright than no bulb at all. I should have looked for an LED replacement.

Mine is a 921. It was dim so I shopped for an LED replacement. The LED I got was dim, also , but was a 2-pack with one bulb in a socket with batteries for demonstration purposes. I was able to wire in the second socket and bulb under the hood and the result is not real bright but passable. I think there is a brighter bulb with the same base.

Forest River equipped my 2016 Salem with a 921 which is a 18W bulb. On our first outing, we could smell something burning near the stove. I shut the range hood light off and had to wait for the cover to cool. Upon removal we found what was burning. It was the warning label stating "Do not exceed 10 watts". We replaced it with a Philips 906LL which is 9 watts. Another 2 minutes and it probably would have melted the soft plastic cover.

Here is what I replaced mine with in my Forester. I can't tell you what brand the range hood is but as others have said the bulb was barely brighter than no light at all. These work pretty good, not super bright but much better than the original.

Correct, the supplyed 921 bulbs produce way to much Heat and Little Light! Cabin Bright LEDS 921 base light is zero Heat and Lots of Light! They were the Dealer at the Goshen Frog Rally! Call Joe! Youroo! !
