Rear air conditioner

Ok, I did the search and nothing came up. I have a forester 2861, 2022, class c, two ac units, both ge. The front(main) works fine.
The rear ac just blows air on cool mode. The compressor kicks on. But after awhile it appears that the fan is just blowing air around.
I have trie to make adjustments to the temp, no change. Also the fan runs constantly with no change in velocity. Always on high. The thermostat will not allow me to adjust the fan speed at all.
The question is. Is this normal operate for the rear ac? It’s a brand new coach. I would think the rear ac would be able to be controlled by the thermostat. Is the thermostat bad?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have a 2020 Sierra 5th Wheel with 2 AC units. The bedroom AC unit compressor would cycle on/off then mostly be off.... much like you're describing I think. It turned out to be a bad thermostat that my local FR Warranty Service Center replaced. AC has worked great in bedroom ever since.... over a year ago now.

One final comment.... About a decade ago my workbuddy nicknamed me TwoDogs. I called him Mighty Cheeks. More stories than room for here but makes me smile.

Thanks for the info. I suspect it’s probably the thermostat. It’s interesting because I recently replaced the main (front) thermostat with an east touch wireless model( for the ge ac) and it work’s fantastic. I highly recommend this product. Especially if you have pets as we do(two dogs) .
I might try the old ge thermostat to if that resolves the issue. Thanks again.

Moved thread from the General Tech and Repair section to the Appliances and Electronics sub-forum since the OP's questions are specific to Appliances and not general questions.
