Rear Camera Problems

Hello all,

I just bought a Palomino Backback camper for my truck (2018). It came pre-wired for the Furrion back up camera set-up. I bought an aftermarket Amtifo camera from Amazon (since I already use the system for my other travel trailer (which works great)...

I got the camera working with my Amtifo monitor (inside the truck), easy set-up as usual. However, the camera will not power from the factory outlet on the camper. I know that the factor outlet is simply wired to the auxiliary lights, so when you turn the truck lights on, the camera powers on in unison. This is not working. I tested the line power with a circuit tester and am getting 12v, and the lights work on the camper. So that's working fine. I tested the camera with 12v power from the camper battery, and that works fine. BUT for some reason I cannot get the camera to power from the aux lights line.

Any ideas or suggestions?
