Refrigerator gas only

Can I run my Dometic refrigerator on propane only (rm2351). I dont want to supply ac when inverter is active. I was thinking about unplugging it. I can't kill the breaker because theres outlets on the breaker also.

Sure if it's a two way fridge you can run in on propane or electric you pick.

It’s a two way and I know it can run off ac or propane, but it doesn’t look like I have the option to pick one. I what to use gas only. If I’m not plugged into shore power it won’t auto switch to ac. Reason being that when I’m using my inverter the refrigerator won’t use ac.

Post a pic of the fridge panel.
You keep saying "INverter". As far as i know, your Rockwood only has a CONverter. It doesn't have an inverter unless you installed one.

According to the manual your model has two buttons on the front control "panel" One turns it on or off. Second one will place it in "Auto" mode which will switch to AC if plugged in (or inverter on if a whole house inverter). When you pres on the switch and release so it's OUT, the unit will run on gas only. The "Auto" light will go out and as long as the "Check" light is not on it's cooling with propane.

Here's the manual in case your's is unavailable:

FWIW, the heater in your unit is 175 watts and you really don't want that load on your battery (probably around 16 amp allowing for inverter inefficiency) if you don't need it.

Bikendan--Thats correct they don't have inverters, so if Im saying inverter that means I installed one.

Titanmike- Thanks for the information. Thats the way I thought it worked, just wanted to make sure. I dont want my refrigerator running off the inverter when not plug into shore power.
