Refrigerator Operation

New to camping and bought a new 2503S Rockwood Mini Light with a Dometic fridge.
The fridge will run on 110 or propane as I understand it (but not on DC).
Question is if I have the auto button on the fridge control panel pushed (lit) and the propane valve on the fridge can select between propane and 110 but does it always take a preference ie 110 over propane??.
Thanks in advance to any responders.

Question on Dometic fridge, if the fridge defaults to 110, is there any way to bypass so you can run on propane, to save on electric? My fridge uses a lot of electric and would like to,run it on propane

If your fridge has an AUTO/GAS button then yes, you can switch it to run only on propane.

I take it for granted you are in a park that has metered electricity for each site.
