Refrigerator shelf collapses while traveling.

Our top shelf collapses everytime we travel. Does anyone else have this issue?

DW is currently using a bottle of BBQ sauce on the 2nd shelf for support, but it is a little too tall and is bending the shelf upward.

We need to find the right size condiment that can do the job[emoji3]

Thanks
Ron

I assume you have the shelf with the cut-out on the right side for the milk? If so that shelf is not made to hold a lot of weight. We put the light stuff on that shelf. If you have a trailer is the fridge to the front of the trailer or the rear? More info would help. Trailer type, fridge model>

There should be clips like in the attached photo that keeps the shelves from shifting after they are installed. Should be available at or through most dealers and parts suppliers.

The shelf in our last one did all the time. Basically because it was poorly designed.

Open the outside access door and you should find the model number. Here's mine:

If your shelves don't have the clips like BobHanke posted, get a piece of 1/4 inch inside diameter vinyl hose, cut 3/8 to 1/2 inch pieces then slice down one side so you can slip them over the shelf ends. If you need to place one on each end of the shelf.

We have the DMR702. I finally got a chance to pull the manual and I see the clips. Ours did not have any on any shelf. I will have to ask the dealer about it.

Thanks all for the help. For the moment, the BBQ bottle is doing it's job.
