Replacing 15k BTU AC

Looking to replace a worn out Dometic Brisk Air II 15k BTU air conditioner. Considering an Advent Air, Furrion Chill HE and a Dometic Freshjet 3. They all seem to have their problems with the least amount of complaints coming from the Freshjet 3 and this could be because it has not been out that long. Anyone have experience with any of these units? Any feedback positive or negative will be appreciated.

I am also looking for any recommendations for a direct replacement for our Dometic Brisk II unit. Our just went out and stopped working this past weekend.



I spoke to Dometic directly and they recommended the FreshJet as a replacement, but if anyone has actually swapped these out, that would be super helpful!


I spoke to etrailer and they do not have any unit that would work as a replacement for ours as we do not have an air distribution box or control box mounted to the interior ceiling of our rig - as it is a fully ducted system with only access the a/c via the rooftop.

I already bought the Freshjet and am having a problem, the control box from my Brisk won’t fit inside the Freshjet (ducted) but the new control boxes don’t have the RJ11 wiring for the existing CCC thermostats…. Not sure what to try next
