Have you tried bleeding the line by running the cooktop?

What does it do? Does it ignite at all?

Who is on first? Light the stove top first to clear the lines of air. Once that lights start trying to ignite your reefer.

I don't think matman was asking what bleeding the lines will do....he was asking what does the op's refrigerator do, because he also asks if it ignites.

Yep :-)

My fridge would light and the go out in a minute or so. Ended up being the ignitor and the control board. The OP stated that it didn't work. Trying to help them narrow down what's wrong.

x2. Sometimes you also can fix that by cleaning the electrodes that sense the flame. Happened to me. We need to know if it is igniting at all....

Like FluffyWhiteDog said, you may need to bleed air out. If it's been sitting for a while, air works it's way into the system and needs to be bled out. I turn on stove and keep clicking ignitor till it comes on, then frig, HWH, and furnace will all light quicker.

Not sure of the type of frig you have, but does it go from gas to elec automatically or can you switch it manually from gas to elec ?? Sometimes it's just the touch of a button.
Don't mean to be rude...you're sure you have gas ? stove and everything else works fine ?
