Just purchased the Rand McNally RVND7. The jury is still out until I learn all the options. Had a Garmin Nuvi that ran out of memory and couldn't be upgraded. So far,so good.

One more vote for the Garmin RV 760LMT or higher, I have the 770, but not sure of the difference. (btw, LMT stands for lifetime map upgrades)

I have the Rand Mc Nally RV 7735 Has been a good unit Only one problem was with the USB power connection comming loose and unit internal battery went dead at a critical manuver. Never relized that the power cord was disconnected as it was still hanging on unit. The suction cup mount lets it bounce and that is what pulled it out I now have a more stabil mount and use a USB cord that has the locking fingers on it no problem since.

I bought a Garmin RV660LMT through Amazon while they were on sale a month or so ago. I used it on one trip and it generally did pretty good. At one point, I got detoured off the main highway due to road construction and the Garmin got me through the back roads and back to the main highway. I did input all of my RV dimensions into the unit too.

The RV660 connects to your cell phone via Bluetooth and also accepts traffic info through the antenna in the power cable. You have to fire up the garmin app on your phone to allow the unit to receive updates and I guess some traffic info. I think you can also make hands free calls through the Garmin, but I haven't tried it out yet.

The RV660 also was pretty accurate with the changes in speed limits. I watched it as I passed speed limit signs and it changed right near the sign. All good!

My Garmin 760 also has the blue tooth option for traffic and weather updates through an app on the phone. I have not used this yet as I am worried about what that would do to my cell phone data usage. Any idea if it uses lots of data?

The traffic info through the antenna works great in the cities where the most traffic problems are going to be anyways.

I tried the bluetooth app once, but found it unnecessary. The traffic does fine and will route you around if there is a faster way. I usually double check with Waze or similar app just to be sure.
