I wonder what water inside does to the units ability to protect from surges. I agree with above, why would PI not address this issue? It's not like it would take much to better seal the unit. Most people would pay the additional cost without thinking about it. I plan to seal my replacement unit better so this cannot happen again. Hopefully PI will pay attention and come up with a fix. Problem is, if we make it water tight will it void the warranty. My bet is it will.
