Salem 30kqbss TV mounting question

I have a 2012 Salem 30kqbss with an ent. center ready for a 26" flat screen. The problem is that the opening isn't very deep so setting the tv on its stand is impossible, but the ent. center backing seems too flimsy for the tv to be mounted. Any suggestions?

We have the same trailer and ours came with a flat screen already mounted.Don't know how they did it,but I don't think the panel in ours is particularly flimsy. If I get a chance this weekend I will check it out and get back to you.

I took mirror off other side and used dremel to cut hole in panel. There is a 1/2 gap between panels. Used 4 x 4 inch metal plate and mounted a flush mounting bracket. Works great, and is not flimsy at all. With everything back together, looks good too.
