You didn't tell us what type of RV you have and the year. Many of the newer ones have a Sirius/XM "ready" radio and only need an antenna. If your radio is not satellite ready, you would need to buy a new radio, or get a separate satellite radio.
Your main problem will be the antenna. If you have a Class A, then it's fairly easy to install the antenna on the roof and run the wiring down the A channel to the radio. If you have a Class C, then it's a different story. With the antenna on the roof, the wire must come down into the RV and then around the interior to the radio - a bit more on installation, but really not that hard.

Sirus/XM sat radio is easy to get and install... go to their website and call the 800 number. I have one radio receiver that is about 2.5 inches tall by about 5 inches wide. Their are a number of mounting options that come with the radio, but I chose to use a RAM mount setup (amazon) that allows me to switch vehicles quickly. My older cars all have a cassette player and I plug in a dummy cassette with a plug into the radio to get the signal into my sound system. The sat radios also allow you to play the sat signal through an unused FM radio station. This works well unless you drive long distances and unused FM stations become used a few hundred miles down the road and you have to change stations. The antennas supplied with the radio are mag mounts and about the size of a silver dollar. Route the wire through the door frame and onto the roof. I bought a few of these antennas and leave them mounted on my three vehicles. I even bought a fixed antenna and mounted it on the side of the house next to my pool and run the audio to some powered speakers and use the audio connector to the speakers for some poolside music. There are several country stations along with bluegrass. You can see all of the stations on their website...
best part is the lack of commercials on sat radio

We do not have it permanently installed, because we bring it home and use it with a docking station there. Works great in the woods. If you have a clear shot to the sky you are golden!
Love the news and talk channels as well as all the music. We just plug it into our radio in the RV and go to the AUX mode. Run the antenna out the back ramp door (we have a toy hauler). There is a 12 volt outlet there as well to plug it in. We do not have a tv so the radio is our entertainment.

Same here. RCA output into the wall unit. If wifey is watching tv then I use my SiriusXM app (or any other music app) on my phone. If campground had good wifi then no need to worry about data usage.

Ok, a 5ver. Then, you would probably be looking for a setup like campnqueen describes. That is, some type of portable installationwith the antenna on the roof and some type of satellite receiver connected to your stereo system. Then you could bring the satellite receiver in your house after a trip. If you are hesitant to do it yourself, any car audio shop ought to be able to do it.
