So I got new furnace board year or so ago, for my SF30 a furnace fired and work in test runs in fall. Then in middle of winter this past winter, the fan runs, the ignitor clicks and I smell gas.
I'm not concerned about warranty issues and the Dinosaur circuit board tech, says that, it doesnt sound like circuit board issue if fan runs, there clicking and I smell gas out the exhaust.
Just does not light and produce heat. Best I recall I checked the heat temp sensor last time and it had continuity, still, I got furnace out and must begin somewhere, once again.
One blurb I read the tech person said stink bugs{ buggy issue } is actually very common. Blocks something somewhere. They also said that it is very rare for gas valves to go bad and especially in Suburban SF-30 furnaces.
Or maybe it was the ignitor he was talking about. I have new ignitor.
Thats my story as of today and I have all spring, summer and fall to figure it out. Oh yeah, this RV is parked and never moves, as i'm living in it for 2nd year now.
