Speaker working intermittently

I have a Genesis Technologies 2.0 DVD / Stereo with A, B and C speaker buttons for two inside speakers (A/B) and a pair outside (C). The B speaker which is towards the rear by the king bed slide out is working off and on and when it does work the volume is not up to par. Seems like the signal from the DVD unit is messed up or maybe a wiring issue? Got the TT new in 11/13 and never had any issues with this system. I can check wires at the unit and speaker but not sure what to do beyond that. Anybody had similar issues / fix ideas? Looks like I can get a GT 3.0 for $200 so worst case scenario I'll just upgrade the unit if I have to. Thanks!

Sounds like it's likely a loose wire/connection. I'd start by pulling the radio and making sure everything is tight.

Speakers

I have a new 2016 Forester 2801QS that was having this issue with the rear speakers. I took the Jensen unit out and located the rear speaker wires (purple) in my case. They were crimped poorly with those crimp caps. I cut them off and crimped on better caps and it solved the issue.

Resolved!

Checked connections at both ends and they were good. Didn't suspect a major wiring problem between the termination points since we have owned the TT 2 years plus with no issues so I put the A speaker on the B wires and it worked fine. So we'll be getting a new pair of speakers locally, very reasonable $ and probably sound better than what the factory put in anyway. Thanks for responses, happy travels!
