Yeah I don’t use the outside speakers much anymore with the ability to turn them off and the fact that, at the campgrounds I typically visit, it’s kinda one of those don’ts - I’m not snooty it’s just that at the state campgrounds the vibe is to not disturb your neighbors that has ramped up since the pandemic began. Anyway - on my previous camper I upgraded the outside speakers to the to the Pyle weatherproof - not that they are the beat all end all choice, I looked at price, size, performance, and availability, in that order. Hope that this helps.

Get a small Bluetooth speaker. We use this one.

take the grill off one and measure it.
than go to Crutchfield.com and check out marine speakers.

Most times when RV speakers fail the cones go bad and it lets water into the wall which causes delamanation.

check out These, they might act as a safety if speaker cone does fail.

I have had good luck with Garmin Fusion marine speakers for past 3 years. But if I had to do it again, I would just get a quality bluetooth speaker. You can enjoy the same volume having it right next to your chair, picnic table, or whatever, without 'entertaining' the whole campground.
