Sprinter 319 mks 2016 a/c issue

Does anyone have a thought as to why on my 2016 sprinter the rear air conditioner throws good air when outlets are open on main unit in ceiling. But when I close them, the pressure is very low coming out of the round air vents in ceiling? I would think the pressure should increase out of round vents when outlets are closed on ceiling unit? Thoughts?

Its because Forest River doesn't always do a great job with the ductwork to the round vents and they're too restrictive.

In my Solera motorhome I traded in I had the same issue. I always had to leave the main a/c vent partially open otherwise it wouldn't function very well. Also if you keep the main a/c vent closed the unit will freeze up because it can't get enough air out.
