Stereo on Standby Minilite

We have the Rockwood 1905 mini lite. The stereo is right in front of the bed. Even when it is turned off the screen glows brightly. Thus far, the only solution is to turn the power off on the trailer. Anyone have a better solution?

You could pull the radio and find the power lead and install a small rocker switch in line.

Something like this:
