Suburban water heater not igniting

Water heater suddenly quit working on propane. (Works on electric). Igniter only clicks. Stove works.

Hear clicking so I think igniter is working , should I unhook valve assembly to make sure I'm getting LP through 3/8 LP line?

Sorry, got busy... Have you fired up your stove top? If they light then, for me, I would have to get an rv tech to figure out the problem. Gas is not to be messed with but maybe someone else can come up with a solution. One other thing, you could close one tank and switch to other tank but open it up slowly.

You might have a bug or spider web in your burner tube. Use compressed air to blow out the burner tube. Someone here can provide a picture if you are not familiar with what to do.
I too would not mess with disconnecting the gas line.

Try resetting it by pulling fuse for it ( not breaker). If they fail to start a few times hey will go into safe mode and the propane solenoid will not open. A reset will fix it if this is the issue.

You could try lighting it with a butane grill lighter while the igniter is clicking. If it lights, then your igniter may not be adjusted to the proper location. If it doesn't, then I'd say you're not getting gas.

try tapping the regulator on the propane tank with a screwdriver or wrench.. not too hard. sometimes they get stuck an block the flow of propane, esp when you put new tanks on. We had this issue this past memorial day.
