Tablet
New to the forum. We just purchased a new to us 2016 forest river vibe ultra light. It has a spot for a tablet in the entertainment area, but we did not receive the tablet. Can anyone tell me what tablet is supposed to be there, where to purchase one, and what are the benefits of having one. Thank you

Hi and Welcome to FRF.
Moved to the Vibe sub-forum since OP is asking for model-specific information. Very few RVs come with such a device. Can you post a pic of this spot you speak of?

Ive never seen such a thing. Most of the new units are coming with "smart" control panels and such but not that i can think back in 2016. Wasnt an option that i saw when shopping in 2017 on anything.

Get the tablet dimensions and connector type. Most apps run on both Android and iOS. I'll bet you can pick your tablet of choice

Thanks. I was thinking the same. But I wasn't sure if there was a specific tablet that came factory that controlled stuff on this particular camper.

You are going to find out it is a proprietary system called MyRv. Standard tablet won't work.

Check your build sheet. If the unit should have come with a tablet, it should be noted there.

Where would they get a build sheet from on a 2016 trailer? Would the manufacturer even still have it?

I just stumbled upon this document today by accident while looking for something else.

The tablet is called simply "MyRV tablet" and you can purchase one from Lippert:

but I choked on the price.
The manual says it uses the "MyRV" app. Maybe that app will work on an android phone.

MyRv tablet was replaced by the LCI OneControl panels. They control lights, slides, awnings, water heat and pump, gen start and sometimes a lot of other things. Not all device controls are on all units.
OP, do you have switches for all that stuff?
