Digital thermostats have tighter hysteresis which means the the heating and a/c system will cycle more frequently around your desired temperature. It doesn't bother me one bit as the temperature is more comfortable and no more swings.
I got my digital thermostat from a local retailer. It is a home thermostat that I installed and slightly modified to account for 2 fan speeds. I used an RV wall switch for the fan control. A little soldering was required to accomplish this but no big deal.
This is the thermostat I used, a Supco 43054 which is a clone of a Hunter 4299 which is no longer made

Do not get a Walmart Honeywell type that requires faceplate to be removed to install/replace batteries. The faceplate often pops off and vibrations from towing have caused the pins to pull out of their solder joints on the circuit board. I got tired of resoldering the pins and got a Supco instead.
