Titan (behind) fridge fan will not turn off.

The only way to shut it off seems to be unplugging it.
Control module functions but power button does not turn it off.
What am I missing?

In auto mode or just using main power button on controller?

Both. None of the remote buttons make any changes at all, but they all light when the respective buttons are pushed.
I'm thinking the remote is defective.

Purchased a new remote yesterday off the "site of the great unwashed masses."
$24 shipped.
Hopefully, it will fix what ails it.
