Trailer has threaded coax but TV only has HDMI

Salem FSX cable/video ports on ceiling are only threaded coax cable connectors, but the TV doesn't have coax input, just HDMI. Anyone have a link to an adapter that will get me connected? The way I am reading the ones I see, it sounds like none have coax, just BNC, RCA, etc. Thank you.

BNC to F type adapter should allow you to make the needed connection to one of the adapters you are looking at. You can get a pair of them on Amazon for 7 dollars.

I had this problem with a vizio tv. No f connector. Turns out that model didn’t have an internal tuner.

leeshearer brings up a good point. Are you sure that it is an actual television with a tuner and not just a monitor. Most tuners require a coax input but monitors don't.

Could you please provide some photos of your TV?

BNC could actually be your Coax connector. You may just need an adapter.

Its hard to believe you don't have a way to connect your TV to your camper.

I see someone else added that you may have a monitor instead of a TV.

Did this tv come with the trailer, from the factory? Or did you purchase it separately?

I believe it is a TV though I doubt it has ever had to act as a tuner since it was always connected to some sort of cable box before we ditched all that and went full streaming via attached computer or fire stick. Not home to take a pic now. Will also check all the links. Thanks much for all the help, everyone.

You didn't answer my questions. Did the trailer come with this tv, from the factory?

HDMI and the signal on the coax are two totally different formats so I would not try to find an adapter. Check your manual or the setup menu in the tv, and look for a OTA or cable option. If your tv really does not have an OTA input, you will need an ATSC converter box. ( such as below). https://www.amazon.com/3300STB-Conve...3176318&sr=8-4

No, is just a tv we have sitting around not being used.

Yes that one also: Note post times simply an overlap looking up a suggestion.

A factory tv would have come with a coax connection since that is the most common way to connect to the OTA antenna.

Everything is working. Not sure why, but I had to initially connect coax direct from the outside pole to the tv to get it to find any channels, but after that, it also worked from the ceiling
