Tv cable wall plate

Had a small accident where my tv fell off the wall! When it fell it pulled the cable wall plate out of the ceiling and broke off the cable connection! I ordered a new wall plate but my issue is the two colored cables one orange and one white the wall plate has four (4) connections one says tv another say antenna etc! I’m not 100% sure what cable it what and where the connect too?

It would help if you provided year, make and model of RV you have.

Do you mean a Rpod 178? Forest River is the corporate name and there are probably 100 different brands in the Forest River Corporation.

  • Put the picture(s) in a folder you can remember on your computer (e.g., Pictures, Desktop, Downloads, Documents)
  • Click the paperclip icon at the top of the editor, next to the . A popup will appear.
  • In the popup, click Choose File. Navigate to the folder you remembered and select the picture.
  • Repeat the above step up to four more times.
  • Click Upload.
  • Click Close this window.

If it is, connect the orange cable to the rear of the connector labeled "sat/aux" & the white one to the Tv connector.

If you don't know which coax is which you'll either need a "coax mapper", or a long run of coax to attach outside to both cable and satellite and inside to a bedroom TV wall plate along with a multimeter to test continuity on the center conductors.

It figures! I thought PT was better than that. On mine orange is satellite, grey is OTA, black is CABLE and white is out to the second Tv location from the switch plate. I've had other discussions with other PT members where theirs was the same. So.....
