TV mount

On our new 5er it has the V shaped, two piece TV mount. With the 32" TV from our TT the bracket bolted right on. I am looking at 40" TVs now and it looks like I'm going to have to fabricate extensions or something to use the same V mount because they don't have the 100x100 bolt pattern (pretty sure thats what it is). I would much prefer to use this mount, at least for now vs drilling holes and bolting a different mount.

Any input out there on how you have done this?

Thanks

If you are going to a larger tv that the bracket will not accommodate I would change to one designed for the size and weight of the tv. It has to support things while moving and shaking just something to consider.

You need a VESA adapter or something similar:

Our TT came with a mount on the outside so we could take the 40" TV from inside out. I don't really need a 40" outside. I bought a mount for the 28" bedroom TV. Of course that mount would not fit into the one that came with the TT. SO I made an adaptor that I mounted to the bedroom mount. I felt the adaptor was better than a new bolt pattern in the TT wall. As for weight you may be able to find what the mount you have is rated for.
