Upgrade to a quieter furnace?

I have a 2018 Cedar Creek 40CCK with a 40,000 btu furnace by Suburban. Is there a direct bolt in replacement that is doesn't roar loudly?

Dometic claims "quieter operation" but they don't mention quieter than what nor show the noise level.

What about adding on the CheapHeat system? (Which by far, isn't cheap.)

Wow. CheapHeat is a nifty item I've never heard of (now bookmarked. It seems to use the existing, loud fan.

Maybe there is a different fan design I can retrofit, or a way to slow the RPM...or both?

That is correct. I have a cheap heat in my 2015 320Rs and it does us the fan off the Subrban heat so noise level is the same.

Yes, and Cheapheat, as I understand it merely adds an "electric furnace" inline with the ducting from the regular propane furnace.

Only benefit I see is it uses the ducting for distributing the heat and no propane is necessary.

Fine for those who only stay where they have electrical hookups but for boondockers? I think not.
