USB on iRV36 stereo?

Hey all, hoping you can help me with this. I have a brand new 2021 E-pro 12rk. It has the new iRV Technologies iRV36 stereo installed. I use a USB on my motorcycle and car to store and listen to music and noticed this stereo has a USB port in the front, as well as an HDMI port. So I got a USB and loaded it up with my music and can't for the life of me figure out how to play it. I think we all know that iRV Technologies website is seriously lacking so I can find no information there. Although it's a different model, I did download the manual for the iRV34 which says to play music from the USB, just push the source button until you get the display to show USB. I've tried switching through source and all I get is AM FM, Bluetooth, and auxiliary for the TV. Any help with playing music from the USB would be greatly appreciated. It should be noted that when scrolling through the sources, the front HDMI port also does not show up.

On my iRV, a different model, the USB port is intended only for charging devices. I've not used it that way but it's probably not a fast charger. All-in-all, it has minimal value.

Thanks for the reply. We went on our maiden voyage with it this weekend and I had some more time to try and figure it out. Unfortunately, I think you are right in it being a charge port only. It will charge, but a thumb drive is not recognized. Oh well, at least I can connect via Bluetooth.
