Verizon has new Hotspot options

If you are a Verizon customer and rely on your hotspot, they introduced some new plans today.
For a very nominal increase I went from 30 GB to 50 GB of high speed hotspot data.
I won't discuss prices, but check it out if you are a Verizon customer.

I have a T-Mobile hot spot plan with unlimited data. Very happy with it. I changed from Verizon and get better coverage. And it was cheaper.

T Mobile great rate

When my ATT unlimited plan expired and they cancelled the program I waited a while then took advantage of the T Mobile $50/100G plan. Works great S. Florida thru Ohio so far. This plan also was sponsored by Winegard, I have a Connect 2.

Cath and I have been all over the USA. Verizon works good for us and rarely are we without a connection.
On my original post I was only trying to help other VZ subscribers to see some of the new plans available (they may be able to save some $$).
It helped us as we got more than twice the high speed hotspot data for a very minimal price increase.
Again, I won't discus $$$, but just wanted others to look at look at the new plans.
I am not a VZ employee, just a retired old guy.

My wife has Verizon, I have T mobile because i don’t get service where I hunt basically for an hour in any direction. Not sure if I will get service but I am saving more money. My truck has free trial for hot spot threw AT&T I would say Verizon has better service . I had several spots where none of them worked

We got a great deal with Verizon with unlimited data, but it does not apply to our Jetpack.

Check the new plans. Unless your looking at 50 - 100 gb plan you are correct, the new plans only apply to the 50 gb and below.
Look at the video above, she explains it very well.

Thanks for the heads up! I called VZ while camping a while back when my personal hotspot sent me a text saying I was running out of data. Didn't realize that the personal hotspot data plan was not unlimited. So I called VZ and asked what plans were available and they said the most they could do for a hotspot was 25gb. Nice to see some higher data plans.

Right now, I am running my home TV with Roku off my Visible iPhone personal hotspot. 46gb so far with no data reduction. The video does degrade every now and then, so not good for home use but great for camping. And $25/mo. If it lets me down, I'll go with the VZ hotspot and 50gb plan.
