Water heater

Okay, maybe a dumb question. Do some RV water heaters not have an anode rod? I've never been able to see one on our Sunseeker. Never had any issues with hot water. We have a 2860DS.

The Atwood waterheater doesn't have or need an anode rod. It just has a plastic drain plug.

Atwood water heaters do not need one. They typically have a nylon plug instead.
