Water heater no clicking for ignition
My suburban water heater will note lite. It worked last fall. I checked all fuses and flipped breakers. Propane in system and tried purging propane lines and lighting range first. When I flip the hot water heater switch on and go back to the unit I hear no clicking. Assuming that means it is my igniter or my control board? It is a propane only unit.
Is there any way to light the unit manually? See picture- I tried lighting the tube on the bottom left where my finger is pointed but it would not lite. Maybe I need to lite under the shield on the top right? Or maybe if my control board is shot then it wont lite regardless? Or other ideas?
I am just trying to eliminate and diagnosis. Thanks
