Weird Coleman Mach issue

Hey Guys,

I'm pretty confused as to what might be happening with my AC unit. I've attached a wireless thermostat to the AC unit, it janky, but it gives me the temps. The indoor air temperature is 73, the outdoor air temperature is 77, the humidity is 54% inside, and 48% outside. The air coming out of the coleman mach goes down to 60, once it hits 60, it starts to go back up to about 70, once it hits 70, it starts to go back down until it hits 60, and it continues to go on and on and on in this loop. It takes about 5 minutes to get it to 60, then it takes about 5 minutes to get back up to 70. Note, this is the air coming OUT of the thermostat is set to 73, it almost looks like once the temp gets below 73 the compressor turns off. The system is not on auto , is this by design?

Did it always do this, or not until after you replaced the thermostat?

I've never replaced it, it's a new trailer.

On a side note, I set the thermostate to 60 degrees and now it's not doing this. I think even when it's on cool hi it still takes into accounts the temperature in the trailer, it just cycles the air.

LEarned something new.

Still seems odd.
I guess you meant wireless thermometer, not thermostat, that's what threw me.

What did you mean then in the1st post when you said you attached a wireless thermostat?

Did you possibly mean wireless thermometer?

Your air temp doesn’t seem right to begin with. I have a Coleman Mach15 and just yesterday it was 88 degrees outside and this is what I was getting at my register:
